# Integration guide
This page provides an overview of possible ways of integrating with the Assure API to verify the identity of a person using an ID document.
Prerequisites
We assume you already know your client_id and client_secret and also have the access token (OIDC_ACCESS_TOKEN) that is required for calling each endpoint. This is described in the Quick start guide.
It is also assumed that you have access to the Assure API at some environment.

The Signicat Assure API is a single point of integration across eIDV services. It enables you to combine a wide range of identity document verification mechanisms such as NFC reading of passports, fully automated verification using AI and manual verification performed by agents, based on the specific requirements for each individual end-user identity being verified.
