# Introduction
The Signicat Identity Broker is a cloud platform where organisations can easily integrate a large number of ID methods via a simple user interface. The following section describes how a user can make use of the Broker platform.
# Logging in
Accessing the Signicat Identity Broker is done from the federation dashboard. First, you will click to select the federation you wish to access. Logging in to the Identity Broker is done via Connections.
Once you are logged in, you will be redirected to the Signicat Identity Broker dashboard. Here you will find the following components:
- The menu (located on the left)
- Service Providers section
- Authentication Providers section
However, the first thing you must do in order to begin using the Signicat Identity Broker will be to purchase the correct certificates. If you do not already have your PKIo certificates, the next page will outline everything you need to get started.
