# Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Enterprise Swedish BankID, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Swedish BankID:

  • 2.1.1 Keyboard / 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value: The "Avbryt" button cannot be activated using the Space key, which is required for keyboard accessibility.
  • 2.1.1 Keyboard: The links "BankID på mobil" and "BankID på dator" do not provide an option to return to the previous page after clicking them, violating the principle of predictable navigation.
  • 1.3.1 Info and Relationships: The page is missing a first-level heading (<h1>) that clearly indicates the main topic or purpose of the content.
  • 1.3.1 Info and Relationships / 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value: The footer is missing the "Powered by Signicat" attribution. This omission may not directly impact accessibility but could affect brand recognition and legal compliance. We will add the "Powered by Signicat" attribution to the footer.
  • 2.1.1 Keyboard / 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value: The "Avbryt" element is implemented as a link instead of a button, which affects both accessibility and keyboard navigation. Links are primarily used for navigation, while buttons are intended for actions like cancelling or submitting forms. This incorrect implementation can confuse users and prevent proper keyboard interaction.
  • 3.3.3 Error Suggestion: The system is not providing suggestions on how to correct errors when they occur. This lack of guidance can leave users unsure about how to proceed when they encounter problems.
