# Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Swedish BankID, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for Swedish BankID:
- 1.3.1 Info and Relationships: The page is missing a first-level heading (
<h1>) that clearly indicates the main topic or purpose of the content. - 1.1.1 Non-text Content: The QR code lacks alternative text. Users relying on screen readers or other assistive technologies cannot understand the purpose or destination of the QR code.
- 1.1.1 Non-text Content: The logo lacks alternative text.
- 1.4.1 Use of Color / 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context): The text "Starta BankID på den här enheten istället" appears to be a link but relies solely on colour to indicate its interactive nature. It also has the same font size as a heading and is positioned close to the QR code, potentially causing confusion. Users with colour vision deficiencies may not recognise this as an interactive element. The proximity to the QR code and heading-like appearance can mislead users about its purpose and relationship to the surrounding content.
We plan to fix these known limitations throughout 2025.
