# 1 Service description
The terms and conditions of this Appendix apply to the services provided by Bisnode Norge AS ("Bisnode") through Signicat. Subject to the terms and conditions in this Appendix and in the Agreement, the Customer is entitled to use the following services from Bisnode: (i) search, and (ii) query on individual information elements (the "Bisnode Services").
A search is based on one or more of the following parameters: (i) company name, (ii) organization number, or (iii) DUNS-number. A search returns a list of companies that satisfy the search criteria, and certain information about each of these companies.
Bisnode provides information from sources that are considered credible. However, the facts may have changed after Bisnode originally obtained or received the information that forms the basis for the Bisnode Services. Consequently, neither Bisnode nor Signicat can guarantee the reliability of their sources or the completeness or accuracy of the information.
The following queries on individual information elements can be requested based on a Norwegian organization number or DUNS number provided by the Customer:
- Name: includes company name and historical names, physical addresses (address, postal address, legal address) and contact information for the company.
- Basic information: business entity form, company establishment / registration date and more, bank, auditor, accountant, number of employees, and industry.
- Holder of rights: owners and more.
- Legal: office, signature right and ownership structure.
- Authorisations: from Bisnode’s authorisation register for Norway.
# 2 The Customer's obligations
The Customer is responsible for the use of the Bisnode Services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation the applicable data protection legislation (including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR")). Further, the Customer shall ensure to comply with any requirements related to any concession, license or permission necessary to use the Bisnode Services for the Customer's particular purpose.
Information received from Bisnode shall be used solely by the Customer. The Customer may only re-sell or otherwise mediate information received from Bisnode pursuant to a separate, written agreement. The Customer can only make individual requests to Bisnode. Bulk lookup of information from Bisnode requires a separate, written agreement.
If the Customer acts in breach of the applicable data protection legislation (including without limitation the GDPR), or fails to satisfy the requirements applicable for the use of the Bisnode Services (concession, license, permission, etc.), Signicat may terminate the part of the Agreement pertaining to the Bisnode Services with immediate effect. In the event of such termination, the Customer shall not be entitled to a proportionate refund of the subscription fee for the remaining part of the term of the Agreement. Customers are required, upon request from Signicat or Bisnode, to provide documentation that the requirements set out in this Section 2 are fulfilled.
