Everyone should have an equal opportunity to use Signicat's Enterprise Electronic Signing solution.

Our goal is to make our content as accessible as possible for all users. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

# Signicat Enterprise Electronic Signing

Signicat's Enterprise Electronic Signing solution simplifies document signing processes, offering a secure and compliant way for businesses to manage their signing digitally and making document signing convenient for the end-user on any device. The solution streamlines workflows and can be integrated into existing systems or use a web-based portal.

For integration guidance and technical details, see our developer documentation (opens new window).

# Measures to support accessibility

Signicat takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of electronic signatures:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
  • Appoint an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson.
  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

# Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (opens new window) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our Enterprise Electronic Signing solution is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

In alignment with this, for some integrations, the following criteria do not currently comply with WCAG 2.1 level AA standards. These criteria will be addressed in upcoming product development initiatives:

  • Modal error – Documents selector
    Criteria violation: 4.1.2 / 1.1.1 / 1.3.1

  • Checkbox label - Signing
    Criteria violation: 4.1.2, 2.4.7, 3.3.2, 2.1.1

  • Navigation - Document viewer
    Criteria violation: 4.1.2, 3.1.2

  • Language selector - Document viewer
    Criteria violation: 3.3.1, 2.4.7, 1.3.1, 4.1.2, 2.1.1
