# Mobile Identity
Signicat's Mobile Identity offers secure, compliant, cross-border and omni-channel authentication, with a superior user experience. Mobile Identity is comprised of two products:
# MobileID
MobileID is our cloud-based mobile identity and authentication product. MobileID provides an identity store and allows you to create reusable identities. These identities are paired with our Encap SCA product for authentications and authorisations.
# Encap SCA
Encap SCA is our on-prem Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) mobile product which enables you to perform authentications and authorisations initiated through any channel. These are then approved in your mobile application, using multi-factor authentication.
Encap SCA is compliant with the Payment Services Directive (PSD2) (opens new window) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (opens new window).
