Initial preparations

These instructions explain the initial steps in the onboarding process with Signicat and KIR to receive approval for using mojeID.

1. Sign agreements with Signicat

The first step to getting access to mojeID involves signing contractual agreements with Signicat so we can grant you access to our services. In particular, you need to sign:

  1. An agreement contract
  2. A data processing agreement (DPA) (signed by a legal representative)

If you want to integrate with mojeID, contact us to get started with these agreements:

2. Request approval from KIR

To offer your end-users access to mojeID through their online bank, you first need to receive approval from KIR and the identity providers. In particular, your company must undergo a screening by KIR. In this process, each identity provider agrees to offer their services to your company (also known as service provider).

Signicat helps you in the application for approval from KIR. Contact a Signicat onboarding manager to get you started with the approval request to KIR. To get help with this, contact us.

Approval time

Note that the screening process from KIR takes about two weeks.

3. Signing process with KIR

After you receive formal approval to use mojeID, you must sign an agreement with KIR. At this stage, you need to fill in a Service Provider Statement that Signicat submits to KIR for approval. Note that you need to submit the following information:

  • Company logo
  • Official business name
  • Configuration data and end-user attributes

Note that the language used in the agreement procedure and legal documentation is Polish. Please arrange your translation processes accordingly.

After you have received approval and signed the agreements, you are ready to configure your account with Signicat:
