You can test your ID Austria integration at different stages during development.

Test users

ID Austria offers test users for you to test an authentication for different scenarios across development environments. For more information about testing, visit the Testen am ID Austria System page.

Test options

Try it out in the Signicat Dashboard

Once you have activated ID Austria in the Dashboard, you can already preview how authenticating works by following these steps:

1. Go to Signicat Dashboard > Products > eID and Wallet Hub > eIDs.
2. At the top right, select Test eIDs.
3. Optional. If you configured more than one eID in your account, then you will see a dialog with the list of active eIDs. Select ID Austria from the list.
4. In the ID Austria provider page, select ID Austria login.
5. Enter the test user credentials. Then, select Identify to confirm.

If the authentication completed successfully, ID Austria will redirect you to a page on your Signicat domain where you can review the personal information of the test user.

Developer preview

Note that this demo helps you test your configuration quickly from the Signicat Dashboard. To test a complete authentication flow, you must first implement an authentication protocol like SAML or OIDC.
