Test in Dashboard

This page describes how to test eParaksts Mobile in the Signicat Dashboard using a sandbox account before you start integrating in production.

Set up your test accounts​

Before you can start testing eParaksts Mobile, you need to complete the following preparatory steps:

  1. Sign up to the Signicat Dashboard
  2. Add eParaksts Mobile
  3. Register a demo account

Sign up to the Signicat Dashboard​

If you do not have an account already, then you need to sign up to the Signicat Dashboard for free and complete the initial preparations. To do this:

  1. Sign up to the Signicat Dashboard and register your profile.
  2. Ensure that you have created an organisation.
  3. Create an account. To do this:
    1. Go to Signicat Dashboard > Organisation, then select + Add account.
    2. Enter an account name, choose the type of account that you want to create, then select Create.
  4. Create a domain. To do this:
    1. Go to Signicat Dashboard > Settings > Domain management, then select + Add domain.
    2. To create a standard domain, enter a domain name. Then, select Add domain.
    3. To create a custom domain, follow the instructions in the Custom domains documentation.
Account types

We recommend that you create a sandbox account to test our services before going live. Sandbox and production accounts must be set up separately.

Add eParaksts Mobile​

Once you have signed up and added a domain, you can add eParaksts Mobile to the list of supported eIDs.

  1. In the Signicat Dashboard, navigate to Products > eID Hub > eIDs.
  2. Select + Add new in the top right.
  3. Choose the eID from the list. Add any required configuration, then select Add.
  4. Now, review that the eID is available and set to "Active" in the eIDs list.

Register a demo account​

To be able to test a login flow, you need register a demo account with eParaksts Mobile. To do this:

  1. Go to https://devapp-demo.eparaksts.lv/app and select Log in.
  2. Authenticate using one of the available eIDs such as eParaksts mobile, eID card, or internet banking.
  3. After authentication, select Create new.
  4. Fill in the details to request a test account application. Then, agree to the terms and select Continue.
  5. Download the eParaksts mobile test app - Android or iOS.
  6. Scan the QR code using the eParaksts mobile test app and follow the instructions to set up the demo account. In the process, you receive a user number and you create your PIN1 and PIN2.

Once the process is completed, you are ready to test the eParaksts in the Signicat Dashboard.

Test eParaksts Mobile​

To test eParaksts Mobile in your sandbox account in the Signicat Dashboard, do the following:

  1. In the Signicat Dashboard, navigate to Products > eID Hub > eIDs.
  2. Select Test eIDs in the top right corner.
  3. Optional. If you activated other eIDs in your account, select eParaksts Mobile from the list of identity providers.
  4. In the pop-up window, enter the test user number you received when you registered a demo account. Then, select Confirm.
  5. In the eParaksts Mobile app on your phone, select Confirm to agree with the identification request and enter your PIN1.
  6. Back on your browser, give consent to share the personal data displayed on the pop-up window by selecting Agree.

After testing a successful authentication, you can review the user data on the screen.
