Web scenarios

In this section we will guide you through all the different scenarios you can do on WSB bank website.

On the portal home page, select Bank Demo.

note

You need to add a demo user and install the authenticator app before you can start this scenario.

Activate the authenticator app

First thing you need to do is activate your authenticator app. This process is initiated from the WSB bank website.

Initially, your demo user has a traditional username and password. Click “Log in with username and password”.

Fill in the username for the user you created earlier, enter any text in the password field, and click "LOG IN".

You are now logged in. Click *LEARN MORE* to navigate to the activation page.

Click *NEXT* to start the activation of the authenticator app.

Next, you pick up you device and complete the activation by following these steps

On the website WSB is displaying the activation code as a QR code.

Open your authenticator app and click “Get started”.

Choose if you want to scan a QR code or manually type in the activation code.

Choose if you want to activate biometrics.

Once the activation is completed you will see a confirmation screen.

On the website you will see a confirmation that the activation is done.

In this scenario you will use your authenticator app to login to the WSB bank website.

On the website, enter your username and click "LOG IN".

On your device, click on the push notification*.

Approve the website login with MobileID.

Once the authentication is completed you will see a confirmation screen.

The push notification is just for convenience to improve the user experience. It is not required to click on it, you can just as well open the app directly.

In this scenario you will cancel a login to the WSB bank website with your authenticator app.

Once the authentication has been cancelled you will see a confirmation screen.

Transfer money

In this scenario you will use your authenticator app to approve a money transfer initiated on the WSB bank website.

On the website, click on “Send Money” to navigate to transfer page.

Enter details* for your money transfer, and click "Next".

Approve the money transfer with MobileID.

Once the transfer is completed you will see a confirmation screen.

On the WSB website you will see a confirmation that the transfer is done.

You can specify the following for a money transfer

From what account to transfer money
To whom you want to send money
The amount to transfer
- Amounts of $100 and over will require 2FA using device plus PIN or biometric authentication on approval.
- Amounts less than $100 will only require 1FA, a device authentication
The frequency of the transaction (set by default so no need to change it)

The push notification is just for convenience to improve the user experience. It is not required to click on it, you can just as well open the app directly.

Known limitations

Service provider cancellation is not yet implemented, so cancelling an auth request from the UI will still allow the user to act on the request from their mobile device.
