Organisation PEP and sanction

Retrieves an organisation's status on PEP and sanction lists, which is critical for compliance with AML and KYC regulations. It identifies any PEPs associated with the organisation and checks for sanctions against it or its affiliates, aiding in risk mitigation and due diligence.

The Organisation PEP and sanction lookup step integrates the Screening endpoint of the Signicat Data Verification API into your flows.

How this works

The fields you configure inside the Mint step map to corresponding parameters in the Data Verification API endpoint. When the workflow runs, Mint sends requests to the API in the background, without you having to write any code.

Signicat Mint integrates with most endpoints of the Signicat Data Verification API; each endpoint corresponds to a step. Learn more about the Data Verification endpoints in the API overview.

Add the step​

To add the Organisation PEP and sanction lookup step to your flow, do this:

  1. In the Signicat Dashboard, navigate to Products > Signicat Mint.
  2. Open your flow.
  3. In the Builder UI, select the plus icon (+). Then, select Step.
  4. In the "Steps" menu on the left, select Organisation PEP and sanction lookup.

Now, configure the attributes as explained below.
