Trigger alert
Triggers an alert on a specific, other step inside the same workflow, highlighting critical outcomes or important information. It allows for different severity levels (Info, Warning, and Critical) based on events or conditions.
How it works
The Trigger alert step allows you to show alerts with different severity levels on other steps in the same workflow.
Once a user journey runs, alerts are shown as icons, depending on their severity, together with the alert message you provide, in the Mint Journeys interface.
This step is intended to let you highlight any critical outcome of previous steps and to make sure that important information from a user journey does not pass you by.
Triggering an alert is a background process that your end-users do not see in the user journey.
You can trigger alerts with three different severity levels:
- Info ()
- Warning ()
- Critical ()
There is no limit on the number of alerts you can trigger in a user journey. However, note that in the Mint Journeys only the highest severity alert will be shown, next to the total count of additional alerts.
Also, in the step overview of an individual journey, only the most severe alert is shown in the step title together with the total count of additional alerts.
In the step details, all alerts will be listed by severity together with the message provided in the workflow.
You can view all alerts, sorted by step, in the tab "Alerts" of the journey details.
