Signicat VideoID
Signicat VideoID is Signicat's own eIDV service for secure online customer onboarding. The end-user identifies themselves by recording their identity document and selfie.
Features
Signicat VideoID offers identity verification through the following process types:
- VideoID Substantial: The end-user captures their ID document and selfie through a continuous video recording.
- VideoID High: The end-user performs the same recording as in VideoID Substantial and that evidence is sent to a support agent for manual review. This agent can either be from a Signicat Registration Authority or you can have your own team of agents performing the review.
VideoID Substantial and High
The user flow for VideoID Substantial and High are very similar. The only difference is that High has an additional security step where a support agent manually inspects the evidence of the identity verification process. This extra evidence is found in the manualApproval object in the response of VideoID High.
