This page contains information about the test data available for the data sources supported by the Data Verification API.
You can find test data for data sources used for each attribute and country. An attribute corresponds to an endpoint of the Data Verification API.

Person information
Organisation information
*You can use real organisation numbers to test these services, so there is no need for test data. You can use any company as an example, though we recommend choosing one that is relevant to you. If you don't have the company's organisation number, refer to the section How to find a company's organisation number below.

The following test users can be used to test endpoints that use Arvato as an information source for Austria.

Det Centrale Personregister (CPR)
This page of the CPR knowledge base contains test data for CPR.
Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister (CVR)
When you make a request to the Data Verification API, you can specify CVR as a data source by using the dk-cvr code.
Organisations
There is no test data available for CVR. However, you can search the name of companies registered in Denmark through Virk (in Danish). Type the name of the company on the main search field. You will find the organisation number in the "CVR-nummer" column.
The Danish Business Authority will update the industry codes (referred to as Branchekode in Danish) effective from the 1st of January 2025. In particular, certain companies will receive a new industry code as a result. Learn more in the Danske Branchekoder 2025 page on the Danmarks Statistik website.
In the Data Verification API, this update will impact the industries.code property in responses from the Organisations - Basic endpoint.
Dun & Bradstreet (formerly Bisnode)
When you make a request to the Data Verification API, you can specify Bisnode as a data source by using the query parameter source=bisnode.
Below, you can find test data that you can use with the Persons Finance endpoint and the Organisations Finance endpoint.
Natural persons
Use the following test users to test the Persons Finance endpoint with Bisnode (now Dun & Bradstreet) as an information source for Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden.

Kontakt- og reservasjonsregisteret (KRR)
You can search for synthetic test data with Tenor test data search — an online solution offered by Skatteetaten. Additionally, you can test the data source with the following test data:
KvK Dataservice
The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK Business Register (Handelsregister) provides a test service to experiment with some common scenarios. You can find test data on this KvK Dataservice page.
Norge Folkeregisteret
There are two ways to access Norge Folkeregisteret (Norway National Registry):
- Infotorg: Provides test data on demand. Learn more on the Infotorg website (in Norwegian).
- Skatteetaten: The Norwegian agency responsible for resident registration and tax collection. The test data is available on Skatteetaten's documentation site (in Norwegian).
- You can search for synthetic test data with Tenor test data search — an online solution offered by Skatteetaten.

How to find a company's organisation number
Some services allow you to retrieve a company's organisation number, but they vary from country to country, so we have summarised them in the table below.
Using these services, you can find a company's organisation number by entering its name. Then, you can use the organisation number to test some of the organisation endpoints of the Data Verification API.
